The FDA lists smectite clays such as bentonite and montmorillonite as GRAS ( generally regarded as safe ). However, our prehydrated clays are not labeled for human use, nor are they recommended for human consumption.

Formula 11-A

This base formula was created after testing the combination of our base clay mixed with electrically isolated silver, as can be seen at the following page:

The above combination, which proved rapidly lethal to MRSA staph, demonstrated a few very clear things to us:

1. The importance of the type of water used when hydrating clays and the immense value of using complex colloids with clays.

2. The importance of not overprocessing clay to maintain a clay's natural characteristics.

Formula 11 is an expansion of the original version ( the original version was considered to be a true medical grade product ).

Although we experienced great success with the original formula, we eventually had to admit that, while we could create "man made" waters with very specific and desireable attributes, we could not create a water that mimicked all of the effects of the highest quality natural, pristine waters.

The marriage of the two, however, proved to be a perfect combination.

After years of studying waters, we're pleased to introduce formula 11-A, the result of hydrating our high grade clay with specially produced "man-made" waters blended with very unique natural geothermal spring water.
